Learning that your own child has a serious or incurable illness changes your entire life. For parents, siblings, and other family members, it means a daily life filled with worry, planning, and exhaustion—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Arche Herzensbrücken offers affected families time together, relief, and rare moments of relaxation. During our “Arche Herzensbrücken” weeks, the challenges of everyday life can take a back seat for a moment. Here, families find a safe space to catch their breath, recharge, and simply be together.
During their stay, all family members receive individualized care—including nursing, therapeutic, and psychosocial support. Certified nurses lovingly care for the sick children, while parents and siblings can take a breather, relax, and recharge. An experienced team of therapists and volunteers ensures that every family member feels seen and supported.

a great deal of individualized care and support for the sick children and their siblings,
Relief and support for parents,
A space for conversation, comfort, and renewed hope,
Shared activities that bring people together and do them good.
It is only thanks to the support of many dedicated people that we are able to accommodate families (almost) free of charge and provide nursing care, therapeutic services, creative activities, and valuable time together as a family—moments that would not be possible without donations.
Every donation gives families with seriously ill children precious time together, a sense of lightheartedness, and hope.
