Funds of Hedge Funds
One of the most successful funds of hedge funds is the
Luxembourg-registered Hedge Fund "SAUREN Global Hedgefonds", which has led the way
in Europe in terms of its risk-return profile since its launch at the
end of July 2004. The "SAUREN Global Hedgefonds" allows investors to
access an actively managed portfolio of promising hedge funds that
features a range of strategies, investment universes and investment
philosophies.

The monthly NAV of the Sauren Global Hedgefonds is published on the
twelfth bank business day in Luxembourg (until December 2009 the NAV
was published on the tenth bank business day) and includes the
latest available NAVs of all target funds, which are usually priced
by the previous month-end. Therefore, the observed NAV of the
Sauren Global Hedgefonds reflects mainly the previous month market
development and the monthly performance will be reported as such.

2 Hedge Fund Research calculates the HFRX Global Hedge Fund
EUR Index starting from 2005 onwards. Therefore prior to
2005 the HFRX Global Hedge Fund (USD) Index hedged to Euro
was used (by taking the differences of 1 Month Euribor and
1 Month US-Libor into account).
